The general purpose of the Order is the research and study of Christianity along with the emerging national cultures. To revive the national and local tradition, philosophy, spirituality and to develop the folk heritage to recapture the popular ethos enriched with Christian elements. The Order specifically aims at helping widows and orphans, recover the disadvantaged layers of society, support scientific and sport performance, support the military and their families, support the veterans and restore them under all socio-professional aspects.
After years of military occupation, the Christ the King Cathedral in Loikaw, Myanmar, has been returned to the faithful and priests, who can now celebrate the Easter Vigil together—a symbol of hope in a country plagued by a protracted conflict.
